I'm 20 weeks pregnant this week! Gosh, how this pregnancy is just flying by in a flash, can't believe I'm officially halfway.
I'm loving this middle stage of pregnancy! I'm not queasy at all anymore, I'm not as tired, and I'm adoring this bump - no more pie-thief, now definitely a preggy-lady!
We've started planning the baby room - we're going to paint the walls grey, with a 30cm pink stripe through it at about eye level. We've bought the paint already, Wyn's been patching up the wall where it needed some work, and we'll probably start painting this weekend. It's been a big job moving everything out of the spare room - found myself needing to pack all other cupboards right to make more space!
No news on the name-game front - we made a list with about ten names we like, and are not in a big rush yet to decide.
All in all, feeling well, happy and content, if a bit hormonal and emotional sometimes!
xx
What?! Please press pause for a second, I am sure you have only been preggies for a few weeks! When did 20 of them go by?
ReplyDeleteAll jokes aside though, you look beautiful, that baby bump is just the sweetest! xx
Rox, I know, I'm also in total denial that it's going by way, way too fast!!
DeleteThanks!
xx
Good grief, 20 weeks already, did someone press fast forward? The grey and pink room sounds fab, can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how much "junk" gets stuffed in the spare room. Our spare room cupboards are stuffed with pool toys, towels and bedding. I would hate to have to move.
Hehe about the name. Poor Liam didn't have a name for 2 days. I never really thought about it until they gave me the forms in hospital for his birth certificate and then it came to me quickly.
I'm really feeling the fast-forward effect, it's scary!!
DeleteYip, spare rooms really are for all that spare "stuff" / crap, and it's hard finding other places to stuff it now, LOL!
xx
It felt just like the other day you got this fab news, and then just 4 short week's later I got my fab news... and now you're halfway, which means, I'm not far from it too.... golly gosh gosh, what is Father Time doing with us!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking radiant, Jess - I adore you're cute bump, soooo beautiful!
Love the plans for the babyroom and can't wait to have a lil look-see!
xx
Yip Debs, before you know it, you'll also be halfway. Father Time is cruel!!
DeleteThanks so much, am loving, loving this bump!
