I feel like doing a post about my husband. ♥
Wyn is truly my best friend, my rock, my voice of reason and logic, my funny bunny who can always make me laugh. He's such a good daddy. He looks after us so nicely, works so hard to provide for us. I miss him so much during the day and can't wait for 6pm so he can get home, and I cherish weekends that we have to ourselves.
This September we'll be married for 7 years - and next month we'll have been together for 12 years!
Oh he can drive me insane too, when he snores at night, or the way he teaches Mia to say "fart-face" and other unsavoury expressions, or the way he wants our grocery list to be on an Excel spreadsheet, and the way he leaves his clothes on the bathroom counter...
But then he does other awesome things, like the way he cooks supper when I'm just not feeling up to it, the way he cuddles Mia on the couch when they watch tv together, the way he likes to hold me when we sleep, the way he can surprise me with a funny comment and make me laugh and laugh.
I love this man with my whole heart.
xx
Aww man, and I've just been complaining to my colleague how I wish men would learn to look for things properly, not just stand there and say "but I've looked everywhere"
ReplyDeleteThey can drive us insane, but we still love them sooooo much
LOL at fart face. Liam has been saying "holy f*ck" the last few mornings and it doesn't come from me. So not cool :-)
Have a lekker day Jess
It's totally natural and normal for us to complain about men - but we need to remember why we love them too! ;-)
DeleteOh LOL, oops @ "holy f*ck" - I try so hard to not laugh at Mia when she copies her dad's horrible expressions, but it is too funny sometimes.
Have a great day too, thanks for popping in!
xx
Hahaha @ grocery list on an excel spreadsheet, lol. I think that made my morning!
ReplyDeleteYou are so very blessed to have a good man and to have found your fit. It makes life so much easier to tackle when you are part of a team.
xx
Oh gosh, if you enjoy the grocery list on excel sheet thing, that's just the tip of it. He wants prices from different shops listed as well! *facepalm*
DeleteSo true that life is easier when tackled as a team!
xx
LOL, just reading your reply to Rox about prices from each shop on your grocery list. Helloooooo, they change like daily, you'll spend more time (and money) finding out each price. As me, I'm a buyer from profession and sometimes its just easier and cheaper to get it from one place
ReplyDelete*facepalm* indeed. There is such a thing as being too organised, haha
That's what I told DH. He wants me to look on guzzle.co.za for the best price. I told him no ways am I going to Makro for toilet paper, Pick 'n Pay for something else, Checkers for something else, Fruit&Veg for another... ag nee man! Spare me! LOL!

Awww what a sweet tribute to your special guy, Jess! We are both lucky to have such awesome men in our lives, even with their quirks. Also had to laugh about the Excel spreadsheet - my hubby is the exact opposite and that drives me insane too.
ReplyDeleteLovely pic of you and Wyn <3 xx
Oh LOL @ your hubby being the opposite, hehehe.
DeleteWe are lucky to have great men in our lives, you're right!
xx
What a stunning post to your wonderful hubby! :-)
ReplyDeleteI think we can all relate to the bit about them driving us insane but still loving them to bits :-)
In our house I am the one with the excel spreadsheet for the groceries!!! ;-)
Hehe Nusha, cute @ you being the one with the excel spreadsheet! ;-)
